I know this is woefully underpowered and hilarious to have even slightly impure thoughts about. So weak of an engine I’m not sure what could even be a surrogate for impure action other than laughter after yet another mild clutch dump fully wound out.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of this Bright Orange 2013 Dodge Dart Rallye edition with 6 speed manual transmission. After some introspective thought I’ve come to terms with unrequited feelings no SUV/CUV will ever fulfill leading me in this unfortunate direction.

Otherwise g ood cars but by god they have the worst clutch feel I’ve ever encountered. Might as well get an automatic.

I like to not so much overtake as have the ability to take action behind the wheel. This would be an awful choice. Also a safe one when the urge to go slide around on a frozen lake or partake in other harmless high octane fun is present.

It is the rare case of dressing up a dull car with fun colors that actually worked in my eyes.  Audi is the worst offender.

Oh man. I saw one yesterday in this exact color as I was walking along the street. It drove by me making the most awful mechanical noise i’ve ever heard. Otherwise very clean though!

Dodge Dart commercials were the shove over the edge I needed to remove any consideration of ever watching television again. So many forces attempting to mislead and strip what little the lowest earning brackets have from them it still sickens. Predatory, at at time when even the best new vehicles are recall prone and offer very low value.

8 years on seeing one in pristine shape yet mechanically shot is thought provoking . The most Oppo decision might be putting the body of one these cheap cars over the performance more expensive technology and solutions provided . From a higher end car the body inexplicably disintegrated on or otherwise proved ruinous to maintain. Forcing the owner to buy anew.

Other than the clutch feel, the 6-speed Darts were actually pretty fun to wring out.

The 2.4L was more fun though.

If you do pull the trigger, I have some parts for that turbo that I used on the Renny I leased. It should be the same 1.4 turbo if I remember correctly. I’ve got a turbo wrap, blow off adapter plate, aftermarket actuator, and even a bored throttle body (I am not 100% sure if these are the same or not between the Renny and the Dart, but I can double check). If you grab that dart I’ll gift you all of those things. They’re just sitting in my garage in a club cracker box.
